WebDAV error on LAN #106

Open fred747 opened 4 years ago

fred747 commented 4 years ago

Hi

Currently I have a webdav at https://192.168.1.100/DAV/zotero

Zotero desktop and browsers connect to this with no problems - it has been populated by Zotero - but Zoo webdav test gives a "handshake" error.

DAV / system / apache logs do not show any attempt to connect as far as I can see

Any suggestions?

Self signed certificates? Is this with the insecure SSL option ticked?

Yes to both questions

If I click on the link above it takes me the correct page and asks for authentication

If I remobve the name / pass from the Zoo WebDAV setup it doesn't ask for authentication

FWIW Playstore hadn't picked up the new version (2.7)

Just to confirm, you can access the webdav server via your android phone through some other app?

I don't know what the answer is, I know the webdav LIbrary im using isn't perfect but I can't find a replacement.

I will try do some testing with a self signed cert to see if the insecure option is faulty

Edit - insecure option seems to work as normal, and the error message wasnt to related to handshakes so I don't know what your problem is

Can access it from a couple of browsers

Zoo: "Error connecting to webDAV server Error setting up webdav, message: Handshake failed"

  | Apache/2.4.18 (Unix) OpenSSL/0.9.8zh PHP/7.3.6
