update project and deps to make it buildable and runnable on apple m1

This MR does the following things :

[ ] update projects to latest versions of gradle and android studio (applying recommanded steps)
[ ] update dependencies (especially google-services) so that it can be buildable on apple m1 mac
[ ] add an .gitignore file to ignore files that should not be commited
[ ] add modifications following previous steps so that we can build and run the app from apple m1 on Samsung Galaxy Tab
