crashing on scan: GMS unable to scan barcode #189

This is a new issue after a ui update last night. The app crashes when you choose the scan option, with a warning that "GMS is unable. To access the bar..." Screenshot_20240114_113150_Software update

i removed the barcode scanner in the latest release, it will try to open zxing an open source app if you use this function

Thanks for this. Does that mean there's a way of letting it know what to open.
