Beta is, sadly, closed.

Note that the official Android app will not support using external PDF readers: "(...) have no plans to support opening of PDFs externally beyond exporting." (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/455807/#Comment_455807) (see that comment and subsequent ones for additional details and reasons).

Thus, Zoo for Zotero would remain a very useful for those of us who want to use external PDFs in Android.
