update on CarvMe database #6

Hi! I saw that the CarvMe database is now available, but the western_diet_gut.qza is only compatible with AGORA. So does this mean I can make a model based on CarvMe, but I cannot run qiime micom grow and any downstream analysis? Thanks for clarifications!

cdiener commented 4 years ago

Yes that is unfortunately true. I am currently working on growth media/diets though to make it easier to design your own and provide more options as well.

Sorry for the delay on this, but just as a heads-up, new media (also for CarveME) will be released the coming week.

cdiener commented 3 years ago

That took much longer but the medium can now be found in the media repo.

Awesome thanks! :-)
