also, heads up, I'm using micro version 1.4.1 installed via scoop. can't find 1.4.1 after https://github.com/micro/micro/releases/tag/v1.4.0 so I'm a bit suspicious.
and goddamn, current version is https://github.com/micro/micro/releases/tag/v1.16.0
closing this as its mostly not a bug and some people might get annoyed by it. and micro is not my primary editor.
edit: closing this as its the wrong repo. I ned a break.

I'm a new user to micro and mostly used nano before it as my first editor that I replace with vim. vim sucks.
thanks for making this editor and keeping it updated.
nano also has mouse support but it took me a year and half to find that feature. no need to find it in micro.
extensions: don't really use them in micro. expect them to slow it down and have other isues, so avoid them. never heard about them being in nano.
key bindings:
in micro, it would be nice if there was a option for nano keybindings. that could be easily selected, maybe by changing a setting in config file; maybe
keybindings : nano
. or copy-pasting it; more error-prone. for Emacs and vim keybindings, I don't care, never used them; never will.though this is only because I went to search for nano keybindings and edited my config file for making shortcuts for saving and closing the editor, be like I was in nano.
thanks a lot for your efforts. good luck.
