More travelling-fueled changes:

allow the users to indicate covariates for all associations using the config.yaml file
generate plots for panfeed results
annotate the panfeed results and run functional enrichments (w/ plots) on them
check if the eggnog-mapper database is actually there

I also unchecked some items from the TODO list, as they have not been implemented yet but "just" moved to the issues page
