Several data sets from CuratedMetagenomicData can suitably replace hitchip1006.

The checks are failing. Can you fix that? Merging is possible after the tests go through.

We should not run the experiments in GHA, too heavy for the available resources.

This PR seems to contain many things unrelated to "Replace hitchip1006"?
