so this was going to be a metatdenovo dag, but plans changed a bit when i realized a prereq for that was launching and monitoring cluster jobs. so this PR turned into that, and ill draft something for the shotgun metagenomics stuffs in a separate PR. whatever i did for that here ill leave, and update in the next PR.
