This is related to the topic of the schema hypothetically not having reciprocal links. I want to make a proof-of-concept View that makes it easy to resolve the relationships "in both directions."

very cool. looking forward to this. I had the same thought, but I'll hold back to not influence expression of your approach. we'll see how it compares to what I was thinking.
