biosample description search doesn't fully load #1328

Search of biosample by description times out, purple loading line stops, and is left with 'data is loading' message. Is there a way to speed to this up? Screenshot 2024-08-06 at 9 54 27 AM

@marySalvi did this work in testing when you released search by biosample description?

@aclum I can get this to work, but I need to start typing in order for the table to get populated, at which point it just shows me all possible descriptions of biosamples and the associated count for each. Not sure why there are no initial options - we can look into that!

There's also some weird behavior with selecting new options (checkboxes not updating for selection).

Could the box be pre-populated with the current selection? That would be more consistent with how the other faceted search options work (like PI Name)
