Validation process (nmdc_schema):

• [x] Extract Study data as YAML with nmdc_database_tools.py extract-study
• [x] Validate to current schema with linkml-validate

Data portal validation:

• [x] 105 samples, 103 metagenomes

First attempt at delete-old-records was halted due to being too slow to be practical. Addressing the performance issues with: https://github.com/microbiomedata/nmdc_automation/issues/75

Testing the above fix completed delete-old-records
