Fixed Window's parallel issue.

Fixes #7.

Looks good. Let’s do one pull request per issue. ... could you have a quick look at unit tests?

They used to pass on Linux - will have a look on the Linux side before merging (likely tomorrow morning). Could you check on the tests on Windows?
