Naturalist cannot locate the position

Dear Micro Team,

Thanks for the wonderfull Software. Is use Samsung S8 with E Foundation with MicroG and almost everything is working. But Naturalist, an App that helps in nature protection by saving occurrence and location of birds isn't working. I tried to disable additional service like Mozilla and Nomanitim , but i get some strange positions in the ocean. I cannot use an alternative, because survey like Walter birds or Monitoring alpine birds and so on are conducted via this App. Is there another way to get à GPS Fix , because all other Apps like Organic Maps, Magic Earth,. .. are working perfectly.

Change from continuous (fast) or so won't help as it only change the frequency queries are made to the satellite.

We indeed use the GooglePlayServices to access the GPS device for several reasons:

• The access is unified and we don't need to program specifically for each device independently
• It's faster as it use Google geolocalised database of all access point (WIFI, GSM) to do a rough estimate that sensibly accelerate the initial fix.
• It use less energy as it don't relay as much on the satellites as other solution will.

So, we don't plan to get ride of that for now. We have no experience with microG but I know some users use it.
