Can't install microg services core on android 8.1 #674

I can't install microg services core on android 8.1. It says app isn't not installed.

Same I tried latest Fdroid link. think Android 8 doesn't support microg spoofing.

Here's the different problem: some parts of Gapps left

@RizkZeyad how are you installing it? Simply downloading the .apk and installing it won't work.

Use NanoDroid and flash it in TWRP. But remove Gapps first by reflashing your ROM

Can this patch be provided as an APK? I don't see an average user compiling from source (or installing using adb..)

how would that work for anything else than the shady apps it was designed for? the vanced build of microG even has a different package name

@diman82: Please refrain to post these links without any reason, your link point to an "unofficial mod" of an old version microG specifically done for YouTube Vanced and unrelated to this ticket.
