The company I work for uses the gsuite for employee accounts so instead of user@gmail.com the email address looks like employee@companyname.com but it's still a google account. With a regular google account, hangouts works like a charm, with the company account it just says No connection Couldn't connect to the server
Try again doesn't help and cancel, well, closes the app
This is the result on a OnePlus 3T with SkyDragonOS (Android 9) using microG ver. 0.2.8.17785-beta-1 mapbox (Installed with NanoDroid 22.2 I think).
On 0.2.6.13280 I at least got it to work using the Wiki workaround (although on an outdated version without media support)
Same here on Xiaomi Mi8 with the mirog variant of LineageOS 17.1 (microG ver 0.2.13.203915). Edit: Works perfectly for the personal non gsuite account.
