Hello, is there any progress on this, or indication that this would get merged?

The last release dates back to 2017 (6 years ago), and doesn't seem to be working anymore for me: installed as a standalone apk on LineageOS 17.1-20.0 (from F-Droid or from the release page), the app never registers in the system. Installing it via a magisk module (this one: https://github.com/upya4ko/unifiednlp_installer ) or as priv-app (tutorial here) gets it registered in the system, but UnifiedNlp complains about not knowing its location.

This is attested by running the My location app, that's able to get location from the Nlp backends, but not "network location" from the system. Apps such as Organic Maps are unable to get a location until they get a proper GPS fix.

The above confirms that the current release is not in a working state. Would it be possible to get a new standalone release for us users who do not want google services, but can still use UnifiedNlp?

I can make the above a proper issue instead of a comment on this PR.
