...because on my almost factory-blank M1 Mac that didn't go smooth at all. In general I suggest presenting the minimum amount of packages first, before extending to the optional packages. Also, this is a complexity (just for a bit of math that does not even contain any IO or hardware-specific stuff), where an installation script could rule. Just my two cents.
