Hi! Switching to the pre-release version of the AL extension resolved this issue for me.

srinebolt-ktl commented 6 months ago

I was already on pre--release. I have since uninstalled and reinstalled and am running the pre-release with the same error.

I'm not sure what changed, but when I opened VS Code this morning the AL Extension extension showed that a reload was required. I reloaded VS Code and can now download symbols.

I encountered the same issue and merely switching to a pre-release version did not help. After completely uninstalling the AL language extension and reinstalling the VScode Extension the issue was resolved.

We released new versions of the AL Language extension to the VS Code marketplace (both the pre-release version and standard one) which should have resolved this issue. Closing then this issue, but let us know if you are still facing it.
