Create a Visio Diagram option (-Diagram) #193

Does the -Diagram​ option create a Visio native file? The documentation (and PS scripts) eludes to it being in the Visio format.

When I've used this option, it is always a XML output which opens in Draw.io

Can someone clarify please?

Hi @sbirdi

In a long past the -Diagram was the only option to create the diagram view, and used to create the draw.io XML file and the Visio file. Both files were created at the time.

But Visio diagram required the custom Azure stencils and besides the fact not everyone would have those, the development cycle of the stencils for new Azure products would take more time than draw.io.

So we decided to focus the development efforts only on the draw.io support.
