}});
</script>

Expected behavior the snipped should enable client side monitoring and I should be able to see logs when I go to Performance > Browser in app insights. Additional context I have a mvc5 application where I am trying to enable client side logging. Server side logging is already working fine. I added the above mentioned snippet in the tag in layout page and I can see the script added to each page when I inpsect it. Here is my applicationinsights.config file

I have also tried adding more config options like the following but still no luck.

 cfg: { // Application Insights Configuration
                instrumentationKey: "{InstrumentationKey}",
                enableDebug: true,
                verboseLogging: true,
                disableFetchTracking: false,
                enableCorsCorrelation: true,
                enableRequestHeaderTracking: true,
                enableResponseHeaderTracking: true
            }

In the Network tab, I can see a track call to "https://dc.services.visualstudio.com/v2/track" with the following response: {"itemsReceived":2,"itemsAccepted":0,"errors":[{"index":0,"statusCode":206,"message":"Telemetry sampled out."},{"index":1,"statusCode":206,"message":"Telemetry sampled out."}],"appId":"my-app-id"}

But when I go to app insights I only see server logs but not browser log. Am I doing something wrong?

junaidahmed92 commented 2 years ago

So the issue was actually the DataSampling percentage on Azure. It was set to 12.5%. Changing it to a higher value solves the problem
