Method not found when adding application insights #2895

List of NuGet packages and version that you are using: Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.ApplicationInsights, Version=2.22.0.997
Runtime version (e.g. net461, net48, netcoreapp2.1, netcoreapp3.1, etc. You can find this information from the *.csproj file): net48 & net8.0-windows
Hosting environment (e.g. Azure Web App, App Service on Linux, Windows, Ubuntu, etc.): Windows
Describe the bug

I am trying to add application insights to the host and I get this error not sure what is the issue

I just added Microsoft.Extensions.Logging.ApplicationInsights package and trying to use it

although it is loaded into the environment
