This is a feature request from Coca-Cola.

I spend a lot of my time in SE and ever with this ‘cleaned up’ version, I get crossed eyed and sometimes select the wrong one (structure is similar).
It would be nice to have like a custom directory structure or grouping on top of the file systems themselves (lol…sounds ridiculous but would be of some help).

I would lean to the side of just a visual aid like a hierarchy, at the end user’s perspective (the SE app itself). Hmm, might be cool to also have an option auto group by the region or location the account resides in too. Just some thoughts.

Might also be good to think about groupings outside of quick access as talked about in #3759

From #4389:

It would be nice to be able to group Quick Access items either by tag(metadata) or folders as only the storage object name is brought across in the UI. A generic blob container name is difficult to identify and at that point the standard nav is faster.

From #4795:

I have many storage accounts for solutions, across subscriptions/environments which are pinned in the quick access section and finding/selecting the desired account becomes difficult when viewed in a long list.

The ability to create folders within quick access to organise items into logical groups.

+1 would be nice to have the same custom grouping as in Azure Data Studio https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/azure-data-studio/server-groups?view=sql-server-ver16

I can only agree with suggestion above. It would be nice to have the same custom grouping as in Azure Data Studio https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/azure-data-studio/server-groups?view=sql-server-ver16 Having multiple envs. (DEV, QA, STAGING, PROD), visually it will help to recognize which I am connecting to.

Just adding another vote here... @MRayermannMSFT it looks like this is slated for the next release is that still the plan? (no one seems assigned) Even just having an MVP implementation with folders would be great for the reasons mentioned above.
