I have the following configuration:

ServieDnsName : huebotstk.cloudapp.net ServiceCNAME : itcanoe.com

the certificate is from itcanoe.com

The bot makes the call but it doesnt do recognition and it closes

Could you try if the messages to the bot works?

What is the last entry of SAN in the certificate? Is it self issued or issued by a trusted CA? For speech to work, did you get a speech subscription ( a free trial here -> https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/pricing/details/cognitive-services/) and use this key in the .cscfg.
