Azure DevOps Widgets #240

Open crawshaws opened 4 months ago

Suggested new feature or improvement

It would be nice to have more widgets for devops extension. Things like a commit log tree for the last x commits, branch status (possibly against locally tracked branches and their remotes)

Scenario

Currently, the offers are limited to three types. Pull requests and queries. Unless I am missing something? More widgets would just make this app alot more usable (especially by the less technical of the team who only really need to view an overview of project status)

Additional details

No response

I'm presently working on a "My Pull Requests" widget which will show all of your PRs across all logged in accounts and repositories, so there will soon be a 4th type.

What kind of widgets would you like to see related to overview of project status? We have query widgets which you can set to be whatever queries you create in Azure. Those are very powerful in that any query you create can have a widget for it. Project status widgets sound interesting, though I'm not sure what exactly the types of data you would want to see, and how it would look to configure such a widget.

Hi, thank you for responding.

Other widgets I would find useful would be things like:

Something similar to the widgets I can get in Azure DevOps already (but only for one project/repo at a time).
