error message temporarily flashes on screen #769

  1. go to a topic feed
  2. find a topic that has a lot of text so that the text is truncated
  3. click on more for that topic text
  4. you get taken to the topic details view, where an error temporarily flashes on the screen
  5. a moment later, the full topic correctly loads
