The extension requires repeated (sometimes as many as five) sign ins to your Microsoft account before finally responding

From my side, the process which successfully finished includes logins to GitHub, GitHub Copilot Chat, and Microsoft accounts. I have some issues when I log in to my Microsoft account. I think it is because one Microsoft account can be matched to more Azure subscriptions and is more complex than the GitHub login and GitHub Copilot Chat login.

I have the same issue here , with each prompt i'm being asked to login 5 or 6 times in loop ..

@achrafbenalaya it's not expected to require sign ins on every prompt, just the first one. Can you try signing out of your Microsoft account(s) in VSCode and going through a prompt again?

@bwateratmsft Unfortunately, that’s the case with version 0.3.42. A screenshot might clarify the situation better. With two questions, I seem to have ended up with seven or more prompts to login to my account (ps i did as you asked , sign out from all the accounts and retry again) :
