You can't open one Perfetto trace and then open a second Perfetto trace in the same WPA session. This is due to a bug in the Performance SDK which is tracked with this issue https://github.com/microsoft/microsoft-performance-toolkit-sdk/issues/112

Note: You can still open multiple traces (including a Perfetto trace ) at the same time using Unified Mode.
