[Bug - Partner Center] i received an email saying my extension update had passed review, but when i look in partner centre, it says its still "in review" #58

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. receive an email from microsoft saying your extension has passed review
  2. click on partner center dashboard for your extension
  3. read the "Extension Overview"
  4. notice your extension is still "In review"

Expected behavior if i receive an email saying my extension has passed review, i expect it not to be in the "in review" state when i view the partner center dashboard

Additional context heres the text from the email i received:

Your ms-edge-addon F.B.(FluffBusting)Purity has passed certification

Good news. Your ms-edge-addon F.B.(FluffBusting)Purity is certified for publication to the Microsoft 365 App Store.

BTW i wish the email would specify which version number of the extension has passed the review. with a multi browser compatible extension, that has to be submitted to many different extension directories, its hard to keep track of which extension directory has which version of the extension under review, so it would be useful to see the version number of the extension you are talking about in the emails from microsoft

my extension now says its passed the review in the partner center dashboard, but there seems to be quite a delay between it showing as approved in the dashboard, and receiving the email the email that says its approved.

just received another email saying my latest update has been approved, and again, when i go to the dashboard in the partner center, it says its still "In review"​

"Microsoft is reviewing your submission currently. Expect to hear back from us in 7 business days."

it seems theres some kind of server synchronisation issue?

It was for the FB purity browser extension

Hi @st333v, regarding the published report issue while the certification was completed, it takes up to 2 hours to publish the extension. Going forward if you see this issue persists even after 2 hours, please let us know.

i just experienced this bug again. i understand the extension may take time to propogate on your download servers, but its confusing to receive an email saying the update has passed certification, but then when i go to the partner center, the extension is still saying its "in review"

surely there can be a better way of doing this, so its not so confusing, it should have an updated status in the partner center reflecting the actual situation, i.e the extension has passed certification and is in the process of being published...
