Pressable button doesn't work if parented to a GO with Rigidbody #11288

Describe the bug

A clear and concise description of what the bug is. Pressable button doesn't work if parented to a GO with Rigidbody

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior: Have a standard MRTK enabled scene (with MixedRealityToolkit, MixedRealityToolkit set up) Create a GameObject with a Rigidbody. Set it to IsKinematic to make it easier for yourself to test, but this does not affect the bug itself. Attach a Pressable Button prefab from MRTK Examples to this GameObject Play scene and use a virtual hand input (hold left SHIFT or Press T once) Navigate to the button (mouse + WASD), aim and make sure to push through it with the virtual hand Observe that it doesn't react to a pressing action/input.

(If you stop the playmode, remove the rigibody and try again, you'll see it then receives input)

Expected behavior

The button should register input from the pressing motion.

Your setup (please complete the following information)

Added @keveleigh, I was able to reproduce this issue last month before everyone took a break for the holidays. Let me know if any more reproductions are needed

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for reporting this issue.

Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit version 2 (MRTK2) is currently in limited support. This means that Microsoft is only fixing high priority security issues. Unfortunately, this issue does not meet the necessary priority and will be closed. If you strongly feel that this issue deserves more attention, please open a new issue and explain why it is important.

Microsoft recommends that all new HoloLens 2 Unity applications use MRTK3 instead of MRTK2.

Please note that MRTK3 was released in August 2023. It features an all-new architecture for developing rich mixed reality experiences and has a minimum requirement of Unity 2021.3 LTS. For more information about MRTK3, please visit https://www.mixedrealitytoolkit.org.

Thank you for your continued support of the Mixed Reality Toolkit!
