Teleport cursor persists after releasing the pose #9074

Closed RogPodge closed 9 months ago

RogPodge commented 3 years ago

Describe the bug

The teleport cursor sticks after removing the hand with the teleport cursor active from the Leap Motion's view and the other hand activates the teleport function. The hand with the teleport cursor must leave the view of the Leap Motion around the same time that the other hand triggers the teleport input. I have attached a gif that shows the issue.

To reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Open fresh clone of this PR Open the HandInteractionExamples scene Follow the steps in https://github.com/microsoft/MixedRealityToolkit-Unity/blob/5dc2cebcaed9a90d8019cda3d4933df03beb0bcd/Documentation/CrossPlatform/LeapMotionMRTK.md#using-leap-motion-by-ultraleap-hand-tracking-in-mrtk to import Leap Motion to the HandInteractionExamples scene While adding one hand has the teleport cursor active, place the other hand near enough to engage the teleport input. Remove the active teleport cursor hand from the view of the Leap Motion, while attempting to activate the input (like an air tap) when the teleport cursor hand exits the Leap Motion view.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for reporting this issue.

Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit version 2 (MRTK2) is currently in limited support. This means that Microsoft is only fixing high priority security issues. Unfortunately, this issue does not meet the necessary priority and will be closed. If you strongly feel that this issue deserves more attention, please open a new issue and explain why it is important.

Microsoft recommends that all new HoloLens 2 Unity applications use MRTK3 instead of MRTK2.

Please note that MRTK3 was released in August 2023. It features an all-new architecture for developing rich mixed reality experiences and has a minimum requirement of Unity 2021.3 LTS. For more information about MRTK3, please visit https://www.mixedrealitytoolkit.org.

Thank you for your continued support of the Mixed Reality Toolkit!
