Can I get the color of real world through MTRK?
Can I get the color of real world through MTRK?
Do you mean have the meshes auto-colored with the real world? Or just make the real world visible through the meshes? The default wireframe visualization should allow the real world to be visible, or you can change the spatial mesh settings to occlusion for colliders without any visibility.

I mean the meshes auto-colored with the real world. We used hololensForCV before, and we got point cloud data with color. Can we get any data from mrtk with color information like that? Thanks a lot!
@followertryingtobeprogrammer it looks like the HoloLensForCV project leverages the HoloLens research mode: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/mixed-reality/develop/platform-capabilities-and-apis/research-mode
Do you mean that you want the spatial mesh's surface material to reflect the colors of the objects mapped in the real world?

You can get the raw depth images and color images by HoloLens2forCV

Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit version 2 (MRTK2) is currently in limited support. This means that Microsoft is only fixing high priority security issues. Unfortunately, this issue does not meet the necessary priority and will be closed. Microsoft recommends that all new HoloLens 2 Unity applications use MRTK3 instead of MRTK2.
Please note that MRTK3 was released in August 2023. It features an all new architecture for developing rich mixed reality experiences and has a minimum requirement of Unity 2021.3 LTS. For more information about MRTK3, please visithttps://www.mixedrealitytoolkit.org.
Thank you for your continued support of the Mixed Reality Toolkit!
When I get the Meshes from SpatialAwarenessMeshObserver, I found the Mesh.Colors is NULL.
