We are involved in several tasks in OpenStreetMap in Republic of Serbia. We are mostly doing road related tasks, and it includes, but not limited to:
Adding missing vector geometries of roads with appropriate attributes
Updating street names based on local knowledge in areas where our editors live
Adding missing destination signs
Adding missing traffic signs on motorways and major roads
Adding missing speed limits
Correction of road alignment (specially in mountain villages)
Changing road classification where is necessary
Additionally to road related tasks:
Adding vectors of missing building footprints, with following attributes (where is possible/applicable):
-- house number
-- PAK (postal address block, not postal code!)
We have run diff between RapID and OSM data. Adding missing stuff is also based on visual inspection aerial imagery.
The team will use all available imagery sources to help to confirm alignment of roads. We could recognize that Maxar Premium Imagery is the latest imagery at the moment for given area. We are able to use our private imageries which are usually taken using drons.
