When Installing Catalog Manager via Power Platform Admin Center, you get an Error "[terminal] db.pdinvoker parse configuration failed with message: object reference not set to an instance of an object.." #11
There is a known issue right now with the Install flow of the Catalog manager onto an existing environment, primary in North America.
When this occurs. you will get a super unhelpful message that looks like this:
This is a temporary situation as we continue to deploy the infrastructure to support the Catalog feature for the Power Platform.
To fix this:
Goto the Power Platform Admin Center,
Select the environment you want to use for the Catalog Manager,
Dynamics 365 Apps,
Chose Install App,
Once you have started the install of the Catalog Client, you can start the install of the Catalog manager.
The system will run them in order and the manager should install without issue.
Please let us know here if you experience any problems after following these steps.
Thanks!.
