Persistent "focus mode blockout layer" even after exiting PowerToys #11850

Running as admin

Steps to reproduce

  1. using FancyZones normally (3 column, no fucus), dragging between columns,
  2. Focus Template "block-out-window" just appears with no way to close it.
  3. block-out-window: semitransparent layer covering the whole desktop.

✔️ Expected Behavior

  1. closing PowerToy should close all Fancy Zone created features
  2. looking for a stuck process in Task Manager... non I could find
  3. restarting all File Explorer processes should kill any extra windows.

❌ Actual Behavior

  1. Focus block out "window" persist after closing
  2. all Windows Explorer proecesses doesn't remove the block-out
  3. have to restart Windows... Loosing ALLL my desktop+virtual desktops settings and layouts!12

is this still an issue with PowerToys? We've done a lot of improvements.
