Description of the new feature / enhancement

This new feature would allow:

  2. Allow the user to later recall the preset to reload the same applications to the same fancy zones at a later time
  3. Allow the user to define a file to be loaded with the application as part of the preset

Window snapping in windows 11 does not in any way provide the functionality described in this idea.

Snap groups may be what you're looking for, it is built into Windows 11.

Windows 11 window snapping in no way provides any of the functionality that I described. The functionality is to be able to save a preset that stores application executable-to-window location and startup file as in quadro RTX desktop manager from Nvidia. I do not believe the "developer" that responded has any clue what I am talking about. Is more description needed?

Apps snapped into Fancy Zones don't currently seem to be treated as a Snap Group by the OS

crutkas commented 2 years ago

@ouuens that is because the two snapping systems are not the same.
