/dup #3096
Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report!
Description of the new feature / enhancement
It would be really useful for online presentations to be able to temporarily draw on the screen. I would imagine something like a simple keystroke and then you could draw on the screen temporarily to circle something. Either as a trailing stroke or maybe like in Powerpoint, where you can draw on a slide.
This should not be there to draw nice or save the picture or anything, but just circle the important bits without some monkey-grip and discard it without hassle. Quick activation and quick discarding of the drawing is crucial to not interrupt the presentation.
Scenario when this would be used?
In online presentations as a one stop shop. Together with the mouse highlighting it would be a godsend and help everyone to understand the presentation and the presenter to convey the important messages.
Supporting information
There are some programs like ShareX that let you draw before making a screenshot, but it doesn't need to be that fancy and should be much more lightweight.
