Looks like we see this resurface from time to time. We did add some code so that .net installation doesn't restart automatically if needed. @Lasith-Niro , does this still occur after you restart your computer? This is failing inside .net framework which seems to be installed on your computer. /needinfo
Seeing the same bug, rebooting and even uninstalling and reinstalling PowerToys makes no difference for me, reported to #17078
Having just rebooted again, mouse right click on the PowerToys system tray icon does "nothing". Based on what happened earlier the context menu will show up in several minutes, apparently at random. Happening inside a Virtual Machine, so I can run some tests if it helps.
@cat38275 , Could you send a /bugreport ? It seems a .net framework 6 DLL isn't being found on your system.
Hi there!
We need a bit more information to really debug this issue. Can you add a "Report Bug" zip file here? You right click on our system tray icon and just go to report bug. Then drag the zipfile from your desktop onto the GitHub comment box in this issue. Thanks!
Done, zip file attached.
I rebooted the machine again, intending to attach another bug report zip file generated after the reboot, in case it helped, but this time the reboot fixed the problem, and now ALT-SPACE is triggering PT Run correctly.
Which makes no sense, since I rebooted several times already without having any effect on this bug.
I have a VMware snapshot saved out of the machine with this bug happening, so should be able to return to the bad state and run more tests if that helps.
