Scenario when this would be used?

hold space + 1 for win + 1,... good for touch typing users

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Touchcursor is a windows productivity tool with an open license/source code. It allows the user to hold the space bar to use the touch-typing home keys as cursor keys in all Windows programs. This means you almost never have to move your fingers from the home keys to navigate, which is a huge time saver.

It was written 14 years ago and hasn't been updated in 8 - which is fine as it works flawlessly, however it's low profile and I'm always worried it will end up unsupported due to changes in windows. It is also insanely useful and I would never want to use a computer without it.

I am suggesting that hopefully it could be integrated into the powertoys suite, opening it to more people, easing install and update, and ensuring it continues to function in the future.

Scenario when this would be used?

This is useful in every app where the cursor keys or function keys eg pgup/pgdown, home, backspace and so on are used. Additionally makes any windows shortcut with cursor keys far more accessible.

As a developer I would be lost without it.
