Description of the new feature / enhancement

Installer creates a folder in the Start Menu, containing only 1 shortcut. This is unneeded. Either don't create the folder, or look at issues like #10276.

@jay-o-way What OS version do you have? Wondering about this as normally the start menu should hide the directory if it contains only one application file.

Using Windows 10 22H2

Maybe a bug in windows. Since (I think) 20H2 folders containing only one shortcut should only show the shortcut without folder.

I beg to differ. There are other cases, from other apps, of folders with one shortcut.
