Microsoft PowerToys version

0.64.1

Installation method

WinGet

Running as admin

No

Area(s) with issue?

FancyZones

Steps to reproduce

Upon opening the TickTick app on Windows 10 with Fancy Zonzes configured to move a new open window to the last known zone for this window, a blank white window appears, and cannot be closed, moved or minimized. This is in addition to the main TickTick window. The issue is resolved with Fancy Zones option to move the new open window to last location disabled. Then just the normal TickTick window appears, but in a default location. It does not happen to any other app on my computer. ticktick_fancyzones_bug ticktick_fancyzones_bug2

✔️ Expected Behavior

Opened window moved to the last known zone, but without any additional windows.

❌ Actual Behavior

Opened window moved to the last known zone, but with immovable window as a bonus.

Other Software

TiickTick version 4.3.4.0

Hi @kamil0301, we've fixed a similar issue in 0.65, can you please try to upgrade and reproduce the issue again? Please let us know if it's fixed. /needinfo

I updated to v0.65.0 and the isssue is still present unfortunately. I tested it also on my laptop and it's the same story.

This is still occurring for me. Any update on a possible fix or cause?

Same here, I see two TickTick processes in the task manager when this happens.

If I close TickTick, close powertoys, and then open TickTick, everything is fine, single windows and single process.

I'll add to this to say I'm experiencing the same issue here. Windows 11 and latest PowerToys. TickTick opens and sometimes has two windows, sometimes just one white window and the functional window never appears.

Been experiencing this too. Disabling the FancyZone - Move newly created windows to their last known zone, worked for me.

A workaround to avoid this issue.

Not the most elegant solution but far better than the manual solution each time you restart Windows.

Also experiencing this issue. I have to disable ticktick in fancyzones to prevent the blank white window from appearing but then I lose the benefits of fancyzones.
