There might be many alternatives out there but many of them are also very flawed, so this seems like a very useful addition to PowerToys to have a stable and reliable way to display keystrokes on the screen like VS Code does in Screencast Mode.
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Keyboard stroke visualiser. When keys are pressed, these are rendered on the screen. This should be customisable so that all or some (those in combination with ctrl, alt, shift, etc.) are shown.
Scenario when this would be used?
Useful when recording video tutorial demonstrations of new software and features.
