Keyboard Manager - Macro or Key Sequence #24389

Closed Allthatglows closed 1 year ago

Allthatglows commented 1 year ago

Description of the new feature / enhancement

To press a button and activate a series of buttons.

Possible additional facets for this option:

  1. Specific to assignable applications. So it could work for Excel and Word, but not for Outlook.
  2. With or without a modifier key.
  3. Record Macro (similar to Excel and VBA)
  4. Set the time delay between sequence steps, or use no time delay.

Scenario when this would be used?

When using Excel I often take advantage of Key Tips. This would build on the ease of use, flexibility, and customization options of frequently used Key Tip sequences by making them assignable to a single button or multiple buttons pushed simultaneously.

Supporting information

I love what you all are doing with this stuff. It's an amazing tool and incredibly useful. I use it every single day and tout it's awesomeness to pretty much everyone. Thank you!
