@RealSweatyYeti can you please elaborate on the specific scenario where this is useful?
Hi, Den
The scenario is normal usage.
Currently, to reset the "Awake" period, you need to toggle the on-off switch, clicking twice. Given that there is often a fairly long refractory period after switching it to "off" before you can switch it to "on", a reset button would be useful. Alternatively, the on-off switch can reset itself to "off" after the desired time, so you only have to click it once, back to the "on" position.

I agree that this is needed or at least a reliable way to reset the awake period to to the full interval again reliably. Turning it on and off doesn't always work reliably on my computer, either.
I've experienced times when the awake time was almost up, so I toggled it off and on again and even changed the countdown time (say to 4 hours from 3 hours) and a few minutes later the computer went to sleep as if it had never been reset to the beginning again. Just like countdown/countup timers have a reset button, it would be nice if awake had a reset button to set it back to beginning and restart the countdown from the start again.
Toggling it on/off or changing times isn't a reliable way to reset it on the current version I'm using. It would be nice to make it explicit for those of us who occasionally need to extend the countdown time again by beginning a new countdown all over again from the start.
Description of the new feature / enhancement
Love this feature! I use it every day.
I have two suggestions on how to improve it. 1) Instead of / in addition to the on-off toggle, have a "reset" button which refreshes the period which will start the period again. This will save turning off then on every time I want a new 3hrs 2) Create a Chrome widget to save having the PowerToys window open all the time. Probably more work than it's worth - but I'd love it if you did do this.
I have also foun FancyZone and Color Picker to be useful,
Scenario when this would be used?
As described, the "refresh" will reduce key strokes when I want to start the awake period.
The widget will help keep my taskbar neat.
