It vanishes because it seems that each update creates new taskbar icon to manage and it's disabled by default. At least that's how it looks like in Windows 11.
@SharakPL's issue is reported in Issue #28435. I'm running Windows 10 (22H2) and see two icons in the notification area (renamed to system tray in Windows 11) after an update, but as soon as I mouse over them, one of the icons disappears and all is well, so that issue may be specific to Windows 11.
However, I believe @binbintaro is reporting a different issue. I just updated to v0.80.0 and the icon for open PowerToys windows is blank in the taskbar (not the notification area/system tray):
If I close all PowerToys windows and reopen them, the icon reappears:

Steps to reproduce
1.Power Toys tells me it has a new version. 2.I click "アップデートする" button. 3.I wait until Power Toys finishes its update. 4.When the update finishes, the icon on my taskbar vanishes.
