PowerToys in in startup programs? It's not supposed to be there. PowerToys is supposed to be running from a scheduled task on long. Can you please check your scheduled tasks to check if it's there?
/needinfo
Hi Jamie,
Thanks for this - i just checked my task scheduler and PowerToys was there, but disabled? No idea why, but I have re-enabled it, so hopefully It should run at startup from now on.
When you say it shouldn't be in startup programmes, should i turn it off? or remove it?

Thanks Ash
For me, the autostart entry is deleted after updating and I need to manually disable and enable autostart in the powertoys settings to make it work again for each user (I have a "normal" and an admin user). But that seems to be #16951
So after enabling it within task scheduler, I start-up my computer today and its still not running at startup. Opened up the scheduler and its been disabled again?
No idea what's going on

Steps to reproduce
Every time I switch on my machine or perform a restart. PowerToys does not run at startup. at all. I have tried everything but I still cannot get it to run at startup and I have to keep manually opening the programme.
Yes, the option to run at startup is on. I am running as admin. I have checked my startup programmes and PowerToys is there, enabled. I have also tried toggling the run at startup option on/off and restarting. But it still will not run!
Please help. Its a small issue but rather annoying as i use various features of PowerToys on demand.
Thanks Ash
