Steps to reproduce

On Windows 11:

• Open Windows Settings
• Select Personalisation (left-hand menu)
• Click Taskbar from the main panel
• Click Other system tray icons
• Locate PowerToys.Runner and toggle to On

Note the PowerToys system tray icon is now always visible

• Wait for a new release of PowerToys and allow it to auto-update
• Run PowerToys if it doesn't start after the upgrade
• Go back to the Windows Settings, Other System Tray icons, as described earlier
• There will be now another PowerToys.Runner icon - this will not be toggled On
• The previous PowerToys.Runner icon will be toggled On

Every time PowerToys auto updates, a new system tray icon is created. The old icons are not being cleaned up. I now have at least five PowerToys.Runner icons.

The attached image shows at three of the old, redundant icons. No other application that auto-upgrades exhibits this behaviour.

✔️ Expected Behavior

On an upgrade of PowerToys I would expect it to continue to use the same icon as previously, or tidy up the old icon(s).

❌ Actual Behavior

Multiple PowerToys.Runner icons clutter the Other system tray icons list, and cannot easily be removed.

I'm running Windows 10 (22H2) and see two icons in the notification area (renamed to system tray in Windows 11) after an update (e.g., to v0.80.0), but as soon as I mouse over them, one of the icons disappears and all is well. This issue may therefore be specific to Windows 11.
