Hello and thanks for your message. I believe there are a few steps that can be done already. You could go to Windows Settings and set the default partition for apps, docs, and more of such. At the moment, I'm not sure if it can be moved via Windows Settings > Apps, I would have to check.
Thanks Jay. I have already changed the default partition but I don't think (I'm not certain) that PowerToys honored that. I did check and it cannot be moved by Windows Settings > Apps. That's why I opened this request.
The reason that I say that I'm not sure that PowerToys honored the request is that I think that I changed the default before PowerToys was installed, but it installed to C: anyway. I could certainly uninstall and re-install to see if that works.
I did a little playing today and am not very happy with the results. The default drive (for installation) is set to D:
I'm space-constrained on C: so having an 800GB application on the wrong drive is simply not an option.

Maybe it's time for a response or perhaps even some action.

Well, that's it. We finally reached the point where I had insufficient space on C to install updates. Miraculously, when I uninstalled PowerToys, I got enough space back.
I guess I'm done with PowerToys until MS gets its act together and actually conforms to their own standards.
I gotta be honest, I understand that this isn't the highest priority, but I'm still pretty pissed.

Same boat over here ... having to dump PT due to lack of space and inability to install on a different drive.
Description of the new feature / enhancement
This could also be considered an installer bug rather than an enhancement or new feature.
Scenario when this would be used?
Users with a "primary" SSD drive as volume C: run very tight on space then need to move larger applications to a secondary drive.
