A few months ago (March) I have opened up an issue on Github for the Quick Accent module, part of PowerToys. It then lead to me forking the repo and creating a pull request, with everything required for my needs (and potentially others).
An approval and a merge of the following PR by the author would suffice, but my concern was that the project is dead and will never get in the next version. Then I saw that with version v0.74.1 of PowerToys there was a merge from Quick Accent, thus I am posting a new issue here, on the main repository.
Scenario when this would be used?
You can imagine that a change as simple as this one, will be of great use to me if I am putting an effort in writing those issues/PR and waiting that much time for it to go live.
I use those characters very often, so instead of googling them every single time, I would just insert them with a simple keyboard shortcut.

I reckon that everything needed is covered in the provided links to the exact issue and pull request in the Quick Accent repository, but feel free to ask any questions.
