I have the same issue. The window opens blank and then crashes. This happens 99% of the time. If I run powertoys as administrator it does not happen. v 0.76.2
Same issue on v 0.77.0

Here are two bug reports. Thanks
@hoegge I can see the crash in one of those bug reports, but not the other. Have you been having this issue since updating to 0.77? /needinfo
@TheJoeFin - I have uploaded a new. Now it seems like, the first time you try to open settings the windows shows (blank) and then disappears, but the systray app does not crash and you can then open it again, and the second time it shows.
Trying to open settings again 45 minutes later, the same happens. Blank window and disappears. Trying again and it shows correctly
still a probelm and not stale
@hoegge can you try updating to 0.79 and see if this issue persists. I would guess it is related to WinUI3 or WPFUI. Both packages have been updated since this bug was originally opened, so behavior could change.
@TheJoeFin Samme issue on 0.79 - but worse. Now settings never stays open - not after second or more attempts as before. PowerToysReport_2024-03-08-08-51-01.zip
@hoegge, unfortunatly it doesn't look like any new logs were capture by the settings crashes, probably crashes before it can log anything. I don't know where to go from here.
Looks like a WinUI3 issue? I received similar report for my app. Changing the region fixed it for some users in older version of WindowsAppSDK
